  1. A twenty-minute call

    Free, no obligation. We find out what you have written, what you want from publishing it, and whether we are the right people for the job. Sometimes the honest answer is that you would be better off elsewhere, and we will say so.

  2. Publication readiness assessment

    £95, credited in full against your production fee if we go ahead. We read your synopsis, your opening ten thousand words and a sampled section from later on, then send a written verdict within seven days.

  3. Quote and agreement

    A fixed price with nothing conditional in it, alongside a plain-English publishing agreement and a document setting out exactly what publication will and will not do for you.

  4. Design and typesetting

    Cover concepts first, then interior typesetting. You see proofs, you mark them up, we correct them. A physical proof copy is printed and posted before anything goes on sale.

  5. Publication

    ISBNs assigned, files uploaded to Amazon and IngramSpark, metadata and pricing configured, listings checked in every territory, and deposit copies sent to the legal deposit libraries.

  6. Afterwards

    We keep the listings accurate, make price and file changes when you ask, and send you a statement and a payment every quarter for as long as you want us to.
